Signs of a stroke

Paralysis of the face occurs
This is a common consequence of stroke because the nerves that control the muscles of the face are damaged.
This is particularly noticeable around the eye and edge of the mouth on the same side of face. Muscles and attached skin will droop.
This is the most visible sign of stroke.
Facial muscles and limbs become weak
Muscles and limbs may weaken and as a result, the affected person may be unable to hold objects or suddenly lose balance while standing.
Look out for signs that Show that part of the face or body has become weaker and when you are able to notice some signs, be sure the individual is catching up with stroke.
Such a person as a result can't hold both hands up over his head.
Having trouble with speaking and confusion in understanding others speech
When some parts of the brain are affected, the victim may find it hard to speak and also have trouble understanding what is been said to him.
Stroke victims may slur their words, stutter or be unable to utter a sound. The sometimes speak in garbled noises that do not look like a speech.
The individual may look confused by what others say and subsequently reply in a manner that shows he doesn't understand clearly what is been said.
They may sometimes have a blank look on their face or frown as you speak to them.
This is another visible sign of stroke.
May develop problem in one or both eyes
When one suffers from stroke, eyesight may be severely affected. At times you notice the person completely turning his head to the left so as to see what's on the left with his right eye.
Sometimes vision may become blurred or blacked out in one or both eyes.
Things can even appear double in the person's eyes making it difficult to go his to desired destination.
Loss of balance
When the strength in the victim's arms and legs are lessened, the person may have difficulty with balance and coordination.
The person may be unable to pick or lift things. Also holding things with the affected hand is virtually impossible.
Not surprisingly, walking will be difficult and looks clumsy as a result of malfunction in one or both legs. The affected leg will look and act dead.
You may at times notice weakness and this results to sudden stumbling or falling.
Sudden and severe headache
This splitting headache is sometimes accompanied by vomiting and dizziness.
Immediately you notice all these symptoms come into play, do not hesitate to go see a doctor.
It's important to note when these suspicious signs start because that'll help your doctor know how the victims brain cells have been without oxygen.
